The ZX2 is ABB’s gas-insulated medium voltage switchgear, part of the ZX product family that covers the entire spectrum of primary distribution applications. Rated up to 40.5 kV / 3150 A / 40 kA, the ZX2 offers three insulating gas options to suit different priorities:
- ZX2: For users with an economic focus – tried and tested SF6 insulation with low leakage rate and closed-circuit SF6 handling.
- ZX2 Ready for AirPlus: For users who want future readiness – panels filled with SF6 at factory and tested for full compatibility with AirPlus; conversion possible at any time.
- ZX2 AirPlus: For users with a green focus – uses AirPlus gas with a global warming potential of less than 1, making no contribution to the greenhouse effect, while delivering the same compact dimensions and advantages.
