Kodery supplies metal-clad and related medium-voltage switchgear typically covering common industrial and utility classes such as 12 kV / 24 kV / 36 kV ranges (project-dependent). Final ratings follow the single-line diagram, short-circuit level and local standards agreed at the engineering stage.
What is the difference between KYN28 and KDVS metal-clad switchgear?
KYN28-type air-insulated metal-clad cubicles are widely used for withdrawable VCB feeders in industrial and secondary substations. Kodery KDVS series (e.g. KDVS2-36/C) is our self-operated metal-clad lineup with integrated mimic indication and digital protection options. Selection depends on rated voltage, breaking capacity, footprint and brand preference (Schneider Electric / ABB components vs Kodery self-operated).
Do you provide protection relay setting and FAT documents?
Yes. For project packages we can provide relay configuration support, factory acceptance test records, labeling and as-built drawings. Scope is confirmed in the commercial offer so EPCs and end users receive one accountable document set.

Which LV switchgear forms can Kodery assemble?
We assemble common LV forms such as GCK / GCS / GGD withdrawable or fixed cabinets, dual-power transfer sections, MCC drawers and metering boards. Component brands can be Schneider Electric, ABB, Eaton or Kodery-selected devices according to the project specification.
Can you build dual-power (ATS) incoming cabinets?
Yes. Dual-power switching cabinets with ACB / ATS interfaces are routinely included in industrial and commercial packages. Interlock logic, indication and feeder drawers are engineered together so maintenance teams can transfer sources safely.
How do withdrawable drawers help maintenance?
Withdrawable functional units allow a single feeder or motor starter to be isolated and replaced without dismantling neighboring circuits. That reduces mean time to repair on production lines and commercial risers.
Ring Main Unit & Compact GIS
When should we choose a ring main unit (RMU) or compact GIS?
RMU / compact GIS solutions are preferred when floor space is limited, environmental conditions are harsh, or utilities need sealed SF6 / alternative-gas compartments for ring feeders. They are common in urban secondary distribution and compact industrial substations.
Can Kodery supply ABB SafePlus or similar GIS packages?
Yes. Kodery engineers brand-option packages including ABB SafePlus-type GIS lineups with automation terminals when remote measurement and control are required. We also offer self-operated compact solutions where the project allows.
Is SF6 handling included in delivery?
Factory-filled sealed units are delivered ready for installation per manufacturer procedures. Any gas handling, topping-up or end-of-life recovery must follow local regulations and OEM manuals; Kodery can advise during commissioning planning.
Box-type Substation
What is included in a Kodery box-type substation package?
A typical package integrates HV/MV ring or incoming gear, transformer compartment and LV distribution in a prefabricated enclosure. Exact composition follows load capacity, protection scheme and site layout.
Are box-type substations suitable for outdoor sites?
Yes. Prefabricated substations are widely used for outdoor industrial yards, commercial plots and temporary construction power when weather protection and fast installation are priorities. Degree of protection and cooling are selected per ambient conditions.
Can you customize enclosure layout and branding?
Enclosure dimensions, door arrangement, cable entry and nameplate branding can be customized within structural and thermal limits. Provide the single-line diagram and site constraints early so engineering can freeze the layout.

What documents are provided for overseas shipments?
Commercial packing lists, packing photos, nameplate data and technical drawings are prepared for customs and site teams. Certificates (e.g. ISO9001-related quality system) and test reports can be attached when specified in the contract.
Do you offer installation supervision abroad?
Installation supervision and commissioning support can be arranged depending on project size and visa/logistics. Many buyers complete installation with local contractors using Kodery drawings and remote technical support.
